I am from Republic of Moldova. My Mother is Moldavian, my Father is Russian. There was war in Moldova in 1991. Transnistria (in Russian: Pridnestrovie) was against Moldavian nationalists who were at rule in Moldova. Transnistria is the small territory on the left bank of the river Dniester, there are living many Russians there & Russia has its military base. I was on the right bank of the river in capital of Moldova Chisinau-city. I was a child of 10, I was always told that i was Russian 'cause Russian was my native language. Many Moldavians didn't like Russian and told me: "Go to your Russia! This is our country!" But, Moldova is my homeland, too. Now i'm living in Moscow, Russia. I study cross-cultural communication and ethnic conflicts at university. I have many friends in Serbia. I want to help people who suffered ethnic conflicts. |

I just wanted to let you know I read your intro and it's sad to see/hear that these injustices are so well hidden to us here in the US....
How can this be so recent in this Century?

Thank you, Larry. When I was a child i'd sorry for myself. But now not. I do not renounce my nationality. I do not renounce my Moldavian citizenship, but i'm Russian also. That is why i'm going to take Russian citizenship, too. I like Moscow, bot this town is very cruel for any person, i think. It resembles a cruel teacher of life.
