And why does it travel? At the end of May (30.05), from Sarajevo, more precisely from Pale, A departure of a caravan of busses equipped with computers with video cameras and internet connection will take place. The task of the caravan will be to enable people to record their video letters, set them up on a special web address www.videoletters.net and help them in their search for friends, relatives, former neighbours, etc. This service will be free of charge and available to the largest possible number of interested people. The departure, then, is planned for May 30th, the first stop is Pale and the next is Srebrenica. The caravan will tour at least twenty places throughout the territory of former Yugoslavia. The mayors of these towns will send video letters to former brother-towns. The tour is expected to end at the end of July in Belgrade. To each place it visits Videoletters caravan will bring good mood, discussions led by mediators, music acts (both known and unknown), as well as the Videoletters trampoline, which is scientifically proven to have better results in combating depression than years of therapy. As a part of the caravan the action „Dreamflags“ will also be organized. This event includes children from elementary schools, which draw their dreams on flags and then send them with an accompanying videoletter to a school in another town. |
