Brana & Petar

Brana calls himself 'an extremist'. He was a police officer before the war and then he became an officer in the Croatian army.

Brana considers himself an extremist. He was a policeman before the war, and then an officer in the Croatian army. 'I wanted to go to war, to fight for my country, for Croatia'.
Brana, born in Vinkovci, in Croatia, works now on the island of Hvar. He misses his buddies from the period before the war, police officers just like him. Many of them have left Croatia because they had the "wrong" nationality.
While watching Brana's video letter, Željko cries. He misses the sea, the island and his friend. But he cannot visit Brana: he is a Serb, born in Croatia, now living in Bosnia. Which of these three countries should issue him a passport?
In his video letter Brana asks Željko to help him find Petar, who is half Serbian and half Macedonian, has lived in Croatia, in the Vinkovci area - but has disappeared in the war. After a long search, Željko finally finds Petar. But he is not sure if he should tell Brana..
